The ARP 250–4202 head studs are a must have a grade for your 03-07 Ford 6.0 liter Powerstroke. These extra heavy duty studs are rated it 220,000 PSI tensile strength and provide the clamping force required to keep your 6.0 liter Powerstroke cylinder heads from lifting due to higher combustion pressures.

Manufactured in ARP’s Santa Paula, California plant from proprietary ARP 2000 material with the threads rolled after heat treating to provide optimal fatigue strength. They are centerless ground to assure perfect concentricity. Also included in each kit are heat treated, chrome-moly steel 12 point nuts and parallel ground washers, with a black oxideFinish for extra durability. ARP also offers inner row head bolts as an add-on to compliment this head stud kit (sold separately).

The standard 2000 series studs (Commonly refered to as 425's) are perfect for builds up to 650hp, for projects exceeding 600-650hp, we recommend ARP 250-4205 625 custom age head studs.
